2009 - Fourth time in a row Pulse becomes the best marketing agency in Ukraine according to MAMI rating. 2008 – David Payne joins Pulse as Director of Marketing Communications and brings over 30 years of experience with him. 2007 – Pulse training department teams up with DOOR International network, receives a license to provide network training programs in Ukraine and changes its name to DOOR Ukraine. 2006 – Pulse becomes a full cycle marketing agency and joins IN network – the largest global network of independent marketing agencies, Robert McNeil enters the board of directors of IN. 2004 – Pulse adds professional training services to the list of its core activities. 2002 – New Zealander Mark Wright joins Pulse and becomes the company’s third Managing Partner. 2001 – Ligett-Ducat tobacco company becomes Pulse’s new strategic partner. Over the next two years of cooperation, Ligett-Ducat becomes the third largest player on the Ukrainian tobacco market (by volume), and is later integrated as part of JTI. 1999 – Pulse company continues to expand, and totals more than 500 staff members. 1997 – Pulse signs a contract with Nestle, under which it develops and manages a comprehensive sales system for Nestle products in Ukraine and Moldova, taking the sales team from zero to over 500 people. 1996 – Pulse begins to offer marketing services to clients and opens regional representative offices. 1995 – Having realized the need to familiarize the consumers with the imported products, Pulse becomes one of the first companies in Ukraine to promote its products by using its own service representatives directly in stores. With time these efforts develop into separate branches of Pulse business: sales & merchandising, promotions, research, and more. 1994 – Fellow Scott Stuart McKenzie joins Robert McNeil in Ukraine, becoming a cofounder of the company. 1993 – Robert McNeil arrives in Ukraine and establishes Pulse company, which starts importing goods to Ukraine. |
